Qualities
Fully Concealed in the Box for a Seamless Finish
This product is designed to allow the box and rails to be flush-mounted to the building or other structure, so as to be completely concealed in the décor. The entire blind disappears into the box to make the most of the exterior opening. When closed, the blind will leave almost no evidence of its presence on buildings.
Designed to Withstand High Winds Up to 120 km/h
The number one factor in the wear and tear of an outdoor blinds is wind, and it's this problem that Renson's engineers have focused their attention on. Friction-free side rails, a sturdy bottom load bar and highly engineered composite fabrics offer resistance to winds of up to 120 km/h.
Fixscreen Frame Keeps Canvas Taut at All Times
The winding motor, the load bar at the bottom of the blind and the side rails that interlock the sides of the fabric all work together to keep the fabric perfectly taut, while allowing it to unwind easily. Good tension prevents the awning from being damaged by the wind, and perpetuates the architectural aesthetics of a building's façade.
Uninterrupted Coverage of Large Areas
Contact us for details on maximum dimensions depending on the project. As a general rule, Fixscreen Minimal Outdoor Blinds can cover an area of up to 22m2 before having to joint canvas together. Consider coupling several blinds together to cover an unlimited surface areas with minimal impact on the architecture.

It's the ideal solution for frameless corner windows, or to close off a terrace. There are no aluminum profiles or cables visible in the corner, allowing you to maintain a panoramic view.
Minimal Coupling Options
The Fixscreen system makes it possible to join several blinds in a chain, maintaining a clean line with a simple, structuring connecting rail between each one.

In addition to protecting terraced areas, blinds placed on the outside of a building's windows provide passive air conditioning by blocking the sun's rays before they penetrate the interior which traps the heat in your home.
Insect-Free Outdoor Living
Mosquito screen options are available (the others are more like textiles) to block insects without filtering light. Whether the choice of mosquito screens or canvas, the blinds are attached to the side rails and come in contact to the ground to completely enclose the living space.

An important factor when choosing fabric is appearance. In addition to color, the weave pattern and choice of material have a major aesthetic and functional impact.
Fiberglass
Made from pvc-coated fiberglass yarns, this highly durable fabric is impervious to moisture and heat, and won't fade.
Satin-Finish Fiberglass Blackout
A standard fiberglass fabric with a light-blocking PVC coating.
Twill
Sergé fiberglass gives an oblique rib weave pattern with an opening factor of only 5%.
Natté
Natté fiberglass gives a linear weave with an opening factor of just 3%.
Privacy
Privacy fiberglass is twilled with an opening factor of only 1%. More privacy without limiting the view outside.
Metal
"Metal" fiberglass fabric has a reflective metallic side.
Polyester
This polyester fabric looks more like a textile.
Soltis Polyester
A very fine weave is coated with a PVC coating using the prestressing method. This process makes it highly resistant to deformation.
Waterproof Polyester
The polyester base fabric has been coated with an additional waterproof and translucent layer.
Microperforated Polyester
This tough canvas is woven using the Rachel Trameur method, giving it a microperforated structure.
Soltis Blackout Polyester
Standard Soltis polyester fabric with PVC coating for blackout properties.
Opaque Blackout Polyester
The standard Rensonscreen fabric is coated with a PVC blackout layer.
Acrylic
These canvas are treated to make them particularly waterproof and dirt-resistant, and are used as sunshades.
Transparent PVC
Called Crystal, it's a transparent pvc insert allows better visual contact with the surrounding landscape by creating a window in your canvas.
Mosquito Screens
An anti-insect screen designed for Fixscreen products that prevents insects from entering when closed.

As a pioneer, Renson® engineers have been developing the Fixscreen system since 2005. It's the first outdoor blind to withstand such intense winds. The innovation was to fit the fabric into the 2 rails by means of a zipper fastener, holding the fabric in place and eliminating the problem of blinds tearing and bending in the wind.
